Connecting my computer sound card to my audio system?

I would like to connect my computer' sound card to my radio, to be able to listen
to my MP3 files in an audio system (with better speakers than my computer).

I have done this but I completely forgot how I did it.

Can I connect the "speaker" out of my sound card to the audio RCA inputs of my
audio system?

I would connect the "line out", if there is one, but otherwise, I can think
of no reason why not. Might want to do some impedance matching, but I
don't know if that's necessary.

I connected my DVD player to my soundcard's line in once. It worked fine.

The sound card does not have a line out connector (IIRC, gotta check this), but I
will try connecting to the speaker out. Thanks.
