Connecting Power terminals in Orcad Capture

After I laid out my schematic in Orcad capture, I wanted to make global
Power and Ground nets to pass the schematic to the layout tool. My
question is, do I have to connect all the power pins to the same net?.
Some of the components have Vcc as their power and some have Vdd. Do I
have to explicitly connect them to either Vcc, or Vdd, Or is it
automatically done by the layout tool when reading the schematic? I'm
planning to use Layout plus or Allegro for the layout.

Thanks

Assuming you don't need to maintain separate power buses (for example:
for analog and digital sections, or for +5V and +3V, etc.), then just
add power symbols named "VCC", "VDD", etc. to your power supply
output. If you need to split the buses, then things get more
complicated.
