I just received my nice new current limited power supply and wanted to play with it. The
mag light bulb I hooked to it died in a flash of light. Should have turned the controls
full ccw. :( Live and learn.

So I looked around the house and saw a wad of thermocouple wire and hooked it to the
terminals. Wow, 30V 1.91 amps and the wad is getting hot. IIRC one conductor is iron the
other constantine. I must be mispelling it because I can't google the latter tonight.

Anyone have a pointer to physical properties of the wire? Would the consantine work as
wire in a foam cutter?

Thanks,

Wes

It's called "constantan".
