convert speaker output to microphone input

Need to convert speaker output to microphone input on a board. I dont need high quality sound...just something quick and dirty.

Pick up the signal well before the amp section, simple.
That naturally depends on just what the signal is though.

I also found a 2 resistor circuit that is also very simple. It takes me back to the 70s, making a cable from my radios earphone jack to my recorders Microphone input (no aux input on my Sears unit) to record my songs.
