Hello,

I'm interested in trying some DIY flexible circuits(!) I've searched high
and low for a supplier of copper-clad polyimide (e.g., Kapton, Pyralux etc)
but have had no luck. The only places I've found sell 100m reels. I don't
need much more than a couple of feet! Any suggestions? Also, anyone tried
this?

Thanks,

John.

Go to farnell http://www.farnell.co.uk
and search for "presens flex" without the quotes would probably
be best.

I only noticed this yesterday as I was ordering some new photo resist
boards and I thought, "Oh look at that, that could be handy"

It's not particularly cheap, 27.50 UKP for 100mm x 500mm

There is not a lot of info on Farnell's web site, more in the
catalogue. It is pretty thin (The pcb, not the catalogue),
and the catalogue said it was mainly for making up replacement
flexi cables.

Thanks, Kevin.

Strange that Farnell carry it but Newark don't since they are both part of
the Premier Farnell company. I scoured Newark's site.....
