I'm making an effort to get together datasheets for all my scavenged ICs,
but CPU ones seem particularly hard to come by.

Has anyone got any datasheets on the following (old!) chips?

6802,
68A09,
8741,
AM2910

I *think* the 8741 is a CPU, just with on-board EPROM. The 8751 is IIRC -
an 8051 with on-board ROM. I can't find anything on the 8741 though.

The AM2910 I gather is more of a CPU core, around which you roll your own
instructions (which could make an interesting project!)

cheers

I have the sheet for a 40-pin Nat Semi IDM2910A Microprogram
controller, also called a microsequencer. It was used in conjunction
with AM2901/IDM2901 4-bit ALUs to construct discrete bit slice CPUs.

The 8741 is an Intel micro. FAIK it's the EPROM version of the 8041 keyboard
controller. Datasheet may be obtained via:

I have pdf versions of the MC6802, P8741, and AM2910 datasheets. Email
me if you want them.

Not sure if any of this is what you are looking for, but...

Fairchild F6802 / 6882 CPU
(3 pages)

Is that the same as the Motorolla MC6809 CPU?
(6 pages)

NEC uPD8041/8741AD - Programmable interface.
Description and features only, no pin-out.

Found nothing in my databooks :-(

I *think* the 8741 is a CPU, just with on-board EPROM.

The one I found claims to be a single component 8 bit
microcomputer which interfaces between the processor
and many peripheral devices.

Is any of that of use to you?

I assume so - not sure what the A designation is though, maybe low-power
or something. I'm sure it's compatible anyway. I have about 20 of them
pulled from a phone exchange a few years ago.

Have you got the info in pdf format that you'd be able to email to me?

Franc kindly sent me info on all the others, so it's just the 68(A)09
that I'm missing.

cheers

I only have it in printed form and would need to scan it... so we would be
talking of .gif images or possibly .rtf document.

I see someone has a link to a pdf, check that out and let me know if you are
still stuck and could use scanned data.
