CSA applies in Canada, UL in the USA.

CSA is Canadian Standards Association. UL (Underwriters Laboratories)
is a (primarily) US organisation.

** If I interpret you Q correctly - then yes.

The safety rules applied by each organization are very similar.

The unit is safe to use.

But the approvals are not simply interchangeable for legal purposes.
