I came across a water pump which requires AC, i only have DC not even an old transformer i could remove the bridge rectifier from...

All the circuits i find invert and step up.. how fussy can a 2 wire 12vac 1.5w motor be?

Many AC motors' RPMs are dependent on the number of hertz. Without knowing more about the motor I'd have to suggest feeding it AC. You should be able to adapt an inverter circuit by making the transformer closer to 1:1 so as not to step up. You might be able to remove the transformer altogether.
I'm thinking the the motor would 'prefer' a pure sine wave, if you can.
Hope this helps.

It's a 12v water pump... and when i move it i'll take photos but right now the toroidal transformer works great!
