I obtained a speaker out of an old laptop and i cant fund anywhere that labels a pinout or even information about this speaker. I know it came from a dell d600 laptop and thats all i know. If anyone can give me a pinout or information about it please let me know. I also included a picture of the speaker tgat was in it. If u google "veco m25x8 speaker" it will give you very minimal information but no pinout or detailed information. As much help as possible is appreciated. Thank you

Hi James.
It looks as if your photo is of a bracket, with CMOS battery attached. Is this a new-design slim speaker?
Or connector to CMOS/speaker circuit?
The laptop should have a small dynamic loudspeaker, usually oval, at corner of motherboard.
My Googling showed normal small drivers.

A speaker will only have two wires. The pinout should be pretty straightforward!

You can figure out it's power handling capability from the audio specifications of the laptop.

Take the speaker out of it's housing. It has TWO connections on it. Pin 1 is the speaker. Pin 2 is the speaker.

Whassa mattah- you ?

And would you be wanting the DIRTY right speaker . . . or the FILTHY left speaker ?

As for the specific connections at the end of the connector.
take DVM and place in diode test and work out possible interconnects of a set of wires and listen for the feeble crackle from the specific speaker tha they relate to.
Use this magged up closeup . . . .
