Device indentification on Binatone MD 750 Dect handset

Hi

I am attempting to repair a Binatone Dect MD 750 handset, I have
identified a defective semiconductor, but I cannot determine what it
actually is.

The device in question is an SMD part, SOT-23 package with the
following identification

pJ3 (the "p" appears to be a different size or font to the other
characters.

I have tried searching all of the usual SMD/repair sites, even tried a
few of the manufacturers sites, but nothing concrete.

I have an idea it might be a Philips part, but can't find any similar
parts on their site. From another SMD indentification page, it
appeared to be a varactor diode.

Because the device is defective, I can't really get any measurements,
there is approx. 0.189 volts drop (diode test) on what would be the
Base & Collector, open circuit between Base & Emitter (if it were a
NPN transistor). I suspect it might be a type of FET.

In the circuit, it appears to be some sort of voltage converter,
possibly a negative voltage generator (handset runs off 2 1.2V Ni-Cd).

Does anybody know what this part actually is?
