Hi,

Can a 12v+ dc circuit return to the 12v- of a different 12vdc power supply?

e.g.: (Transformer A) 12 v+ --------- light --------- 12 v- (Transformer B)

No. If there is no other connection between the two transformers, no current can flow.

If the two have a common ground, and if that was the - of the first transformer and the + of the second, you would have 24V on the light. If the two minuses are connected together it will work, but what is the point of the question then since the light would be connected between the + and - of the first transformer.
