we live in the country and our power supplier has numerous power 'blips' where the power to the house goes off for a split second..just long enough for all the digital clocks to display blinking"12:00". very annoying and time consuming to have to run around and reset the times. I was wondering, is there a way to wire a small capacitor in parallel to the individual clocks so as to supply power to the clocks, so they have continuing power during these 'blips? thanks

alot of alarm clocks have a place underneath to install a 9volt battery. this stores settings such as time and alarms. you might want to look for one of these alarms.

on the other side if you want to spend more money you can get a uninteruptable power supply, but thats overkill.
