Greetings,

I remember reading about EEGs a while ago (before they were cool and you could get commercial ones) and thinking it would be straightforward enough to build one - the only problem is getting a sensitive enough amplifier.

If a few transistors are all that is needed to detect a power line behind a wall, surely this would be enough - then just feed that to a calibrated amp stage then to an ADC.

I've got a friend who bought one of the commercial ones and can do some pretty cool stuff with it. I rekon I could have even more fun with all the meditation tricks I know.

Anyone know much about this stuff?

Well thats about as useful as an inflatable dart board - not a single schematic in site. It answered my question though: yes it really is that simple.
