Hi, Was wondering if someone made a 4way relay? By this I mean a relay
that acts like a 4way light switch that one uses along with a two 3way
light switches to control a room light from various locations. I
wanted to use x10 plc switches to control lights from my computer.
But, I would have to replace a bunch of switches. Trying to find a
better way.

What an electrician calls a "3 way" switch is a SPDT switch (single
pole-double throw). What they call "4 way" is a DPDT switch.

DPDT relays are very common. You're just searching for the wrong
nomenclature.

A DPDT switch or relay has 6 contacts - 2 poles and 2 throws for each
pole. To get your familiar 4 contacts you must cross connect the 4
throws. The normally open throw of each pole connects to the normally
closed throw of the other pole.

Then your 4 contacts will be the 2 poles and the 2 wires that connect
the throws.

Doh! When I read "cross connect", I saw it in my mind. I should have
be able to figure that out. Thanks
