Nope - in all my years I've never seen damage by a CR2032. You're much more likely to question the lack of functionality the battery supposedly supplied before it gets so old you question potential physical harm from it.
Any time I service equipment that has one I change it as a matter of course. Only a few 'pennies' and so simple a task it's not worth ignoring.
I don't know what the internal construction of the CR2032 is and if its chemistry undergoes reactions that turns into some corrosive compound for the PCB board and the metal fitting of this battery
When storing equipment for a log period, REMOVE the battery.
That way the battery can not harm the equipment.
It will be easy to replace the battery when the equipment will be used again.
