‘DS201 hand held ‘Oscilloscope’
I am hoping that somebody has the DS201 Scope.
If so, please can you tell me two or three things that I can’t get my head round.
a). The probe has a ‘x10 switch’ But no adjustment, - and I’m getting very curly square-waves.
Is there a way one can adjust the setting within the DS201 scope.
b). In the Ex menu, it seems to use a ‘Sign-Wave gone crazy’According to various settings it does alter its status. When set to ‘Ex –Inp’ I do get the inverted signal in line with the in-put signal. Other than that I‘m lost to know what I am looking at!
c). There is a small menu for ‘calibration’ - Calibrate to Zero – Calibrate Range – Calibrate Auto and Restore. The Instructions that I have give no suitable information.
If you calibrate a setting, you have to have a master figure to calibrate from!!! – surely.
(I still have a CRT scope, and now a ‘Rigol DS1052E’ that I use all the time, and have no trouble with.)
Hoping someone can give me some guidance.
