Electric Scooter Battery Voltage Display

Hi all,
I want to create a battery meter for my kid's electric scooter. It is (2) 12-volt battery in series. I would like to use a household battery tester as the meter. I need to calibrate it so its range is a bit higher. I understand this may require the use of a voltage divider.
