Electronic connection between ear and brain for sound control.

Another idea could be to place an electronic's device between ear and brain
just like "hearing-aided" people have.

Except in this case, the ear itself is still used as the hearing device.

The only difference is the signals from the ear are intercepted and then
maybe filtered or shut off at the user's request.

This would give human beings control over what they hear and at what
sound/volume levels.

Also advanced software might be able to filter out unwanted sounds like car,
bus, motor sounds.

If filtering fails then at least the user can simply shut off the sound
completely or place it at a very low volume.

This would kinda be interesting because then the world could become very
noisy and nobody would care except maybe the animals ;)

My pc could be very noisy... but I wouldn't care since I have "sound
control" for my ear :)

Same for construction works, bikers, students making an exam and so forth.

Ofcourse the danger is one could go deaf if the electronics fails etc...
hopefully it can be replaced/repaired etc... and even better would be if it
was possible to get rid of the electronics if one doesn't want it anymore
and still re-enable/re-make how it was before that (biological connections).

This idea more or less indicates that "research into the workings of the ear
and the transmission of signals to the brain" is not only interesting for
"deaf" people but also for hearing people as well...

Hmm I also just realized this could be used for spying on people :)
Increasing the sound volume...makes ya wonder if spies already have it eh ?
;)

Maybe we will see this in the next James Bond movie ?! ;) :) >D

Bye,
Skybuck :)
