Embedded system detailed design steps

Hi,

I’m looking for a resources, books or other materials which explains modern day embedded system design in detail. It should include hardware and software design steps. It’s should cover minor steps in detail such selecting hardware components, how to develop software using evaluation board connections and etc. Please suggest any form of resources, books or other materials. Please suggest best once. Thanks.

Google is your best friend to get ya started on this quest. But realize that each embedded system design is unique to its particular application. Their are no "cookie cutter" formulas or short-cuts to learning system design. A four-year engineering school curriculum, followed after graduation by a few years internship in a professional engineering company that does embedded systems design will get you started.
