Equivalent~ish Mosfets for Power Inverter

Good day group. I have a PowerJack Inverter (don't laugh) and this thing is switched with RU7088R Mosfets. Initially this inverter actually performed okay, but yesterday I finally managed to blow out two mosfet banks.
Instead of replacing the mosfets with identical ones, I thought it might be an idea to see if there are mosfets out there I could replace mine with, that can handle a little more power.
Does anyone here know of this? Or can anyone point me in the right direction?

You can fit MOSFETS with higher ratings but that doesn't necessarily mean you can get more power out from the inverter. There will be feedback measurements that limit the output as part of the regulation circuitry.

I am looking to replace with mosfets that can hold out just a bit longer. A rating of 110A does sound better than 80A. That's the ONLY reason....

You could stack the mosfets so they share the load and run cooler?.

'Uprated' MOSFETS would include such improvements as lower Rds(on) values and, as such, they would dissipate less heat anyway.

No problem with that - any 'overhead' is better than none (or not enough). But see the post above re the Rds(on) values which you can get from the datasheets or the parametric search results on most supplier sites. Lower is better.
