ESR Meter purchase recommendations?

I've been getting into amplifier repair and I need to buy an ESR meter to test electrolytic caps. (I'm going to recap the pre-amp and power amp stages of an old Yamaha amp from the 1990s. Nothing collectible, just something to get my feet wet before I get started on a pair of Kenwood ka 9100s.)

I've been eyeing the Signstek MESR-100 V2 ESR meter. Amazon link

Anyone have any recommendation on whether it's any good? I've heard the Bob Parker designs are good too (today it's called the Anatek Blue ESR meter?). But it has attached leads, which doesn't allow me to swap to more precise pinpoint prongs. The Signstek, in contrast, has banana jacks in the front allowing interchangeable testing prongs.

Both are good but there are alternative cheaper versions.
With or without connected probes?.
You may find that units with connected leads have a slightly different resistance due to smaller guage wires.
None of mine, with or without leads show any major difference in readings.
I do however prefer my XJW01 meter with Kelvin leads.
The Chinese cheap copies seem to prefer the M or MK 328 varieties.
Which one you purchase is your decission. Just make sure you DISCHARGE caps before measuring them.
