InFormEnter is absolutely a kicker. Any time there's a box to fill out
on a page, it lets you pop up your own list of words or phrases or
whatever you like, and lets you poke any one into the box. It doesn't
care what the box is called, or whether the form design is
standards-compliant or not. This is brilliantly simple.

Only problem is I can't get it to download. I'm leery of direct
installs from websites... not sure that anti-virus/worm works under
those conditions.

My favorite is Flashblock. It put blank boxes in place of annoying
flash ads. You click on any box if its something you want to see or
use. And the ol' ESC key stops GIF animations (stock feature).

Hello Jim,
Thanks! I'll install in the morning... guests just now arriving ;-)

Easter dinner? We had ours yesterday. Five-course meal for eight people,
all made from scratch by my wife. I have no idea how she does that.

Hello Jim,

Easter dinner? We had ours yesterday. Five-course meal for eight people,

We had nine. Son with cancer did not attend... he's still too weak.
Daughter in Yuma couldn't make it due to Republican party
commitments... escorting McCain around Yuma :-(
all made from scratch by my wife. I have no idea how she does that.

Same here. We had pomegranate martini's, shrimp, fruit, cheese, etc.
for appetizers, racks of lamb, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy,
multi-colored green beans, a "bunny" cake, an ice-cream-filled cake
and a lemon tart (made from lemons from our own tree).
Regards, Joerg

How do I install it? Windows doesn't seem to know what an xpi file
is.

Windows doesn't install it... Firefox does. Just go to this page and
click "install now."

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/673/

Then, in Fox, click Tools, Extensions, then doubleclick InFormEnter.
Edit the dummy lines in the box to be whatever strings you'd ever want
to enter into a form or a search box. Add all you like... they're just
strings.

When a web page appears with form slots, there will be a new little
doobie you can click to pop up your list; click any line there, and it
goes into the form.

While you're at it, nab AdBlock and FlashBlock.

Yup--its a BROWSER plug-in.
Drag the file and drop it onto a browser page.
(I don't like direct installs either.)

Let him know that people are praying for him.

So, does this mean McCain is going to be our next president?

You are supposed to install it directly from the web site. :)
Firefox knows what an xpi file is and automatically installs the
extension after downloading if you click the install link.

But if you have it on your C: drive just type file:c:\ in the
URL bar and browse to where you saved the .xpi file and click
it. The firefox extension installer should launch then.

Worked. Thanks! But it did still require "Allow websites to
install...", even though it was local.
