Welcome to EP!
Post your schematic, plus details of the bulbs and power supply, and perhaps we can help.

Did you check to see if you burned-out the filaments in those bubls?

Is it a standard incandescent bulb? Rated for what voltage? What's the wattage rating?

It's likely that either the circuit provides insufficient power to light the bulb or the oscillator stops when the bulb is attached.

Have you measured the output voltage and/or current with the bulb connected?

What wattage is the bulb? Can you try something smaller?

I don't see a light bulb on your schematic. Where are you connecting the bulb? If you are trying to operate the light bulb from the secondary winding, you will need a neon lamp and a large-values current-limiting resistor in series with the lamp... perhaps ten to a hundred meg-ohms or greater, depending on how many thousands of volts the secondary is producing. Pretty nice arc though.

Do you connect it where the spark comes from?

OK, Your problem is that the flyback transformer is designed for very high voltage at low current. It has a high internal resistance and probably an integrated rectifier. What you ideally need to look for is a transformer designed for your mains voltage with something like a 16V centre tapped winding.

I do "social networking" here and in other forums. Facebook... not so much. Post your questions here so the entire community can see and help you.

I suspect you are trying to build a classic "joule thief" circuit and you should Google that phrase for background information. A fly-back transformer salvaged from a broken television set is a wonderful toy, but hardly what I would have used to get my initial experience in electronics. Heh. I started with a Ford spark-coil that came packaged in a wooden box with an adjustable interrupter on one end. Check out the Boy Electrician for details.

Let me ask this. I need a schematic for something tjat will boost a small current to light a bulb. I saw a guy doing so with 9v battery but he did not give schematic. Its a super joule ringer. He used a toroid rod and transistor ext will give link now
