I don't know if I'm pulling a mind fart are not but….

I'm using a FXO-HC736R-50.000 which is a 50MHz OSCILLATOR.
The data sheet says the output swing should be 10% Vdd to 90%Vdd.

I've tried one in my AD9834 DDS circuit it's the master clock and it's
only swinging 1.3Vpp on a 2V dc offset. I tested one outside the
circuit using the test schematic in the data sheet and it's the same.
Has anyone used these FOX OSC's is this normal? Is there any reason
why this may be happening? I checked my 3.3V rail it's clean only
about 10mV of ripple.

Could anyone recommend a 50MHz and 75MHz OSCILLATOR.

They only give a spec for the digital inputs on the AD9834 a digital
hi is 2V and a low is 0.7V. I'm guessing this applies to my clock
signal, because they don't provide any details on it's requirements.

Oscilloscope problem? 1x probe? BW limit on?

John

Thanks John it was my probe. I put it to 10x which is 17pf versus 47pf
for 1x.Its as it should be.
