Hello,
I have a LCD Board for a Raspberry Pi and it has a few pushbuttons on the side. They are SMD tactile switches.
I want to move them into a separate location, either a PCB Board or a mounting place.
My question is that if I cand find compatible connectors, that can pe soldered on the old pushbuttons pads and not leaving soldered wires directly on the old pads. This way I can connect the buttons and disconnect them as I please.
Thank you.

If you cannot find that connector, try this. Use an inline connector on a short pigtail. That way you can disconnect the remote switches and still use the onboard ones. Add some strain relief between the pigtail and the board. Functional, flexible, fab!

Sorry to bother, but unfortunately I can not understand. Translating <<inline connector on a short pigtail>> into my native language or even googling it only shows usual JST connectors. Are you referring to something else? Or maybe it is easier to make a simple sketch.
Thank you!

Hello,

Can you post a picture of the board?
Do you want to have off-board switches?
That way we can have an idea of waht you are trying to do.

Hello,

Usualy only 2 pins make the contacts.
See this page for more info:
You could use 2 pin connectors to extend the wiring.

I completely agree with this. But my question remains, if we can find on the market some sort of a connector that has this footprint
