Hi, All:

What is the advantages in fully differential opamp that compare to
single-ended archtecture?

1. charge injection
2. clock-feedthrough

and why they will be reduced in fully differential?

Thanks a lot!

Boki.

Sounds a lot like a homework question.

A fully differential op amp driving two identical loads in anti-phase
draws a very much more nearly constant current from the power rails
than its single-ended equivalent.

This substantially reduces locally generated ripple on the power rail.

Any remotely generated ripple or noise on the power rail gets injected
into both outputs in the same sense, and can thus be rejected as
common mode noise in the next stage of processing.

Hope this helps.

There are noise-cancelling benefits - presuming sufficient common-mode
rejection and performance dynamics at the un-wanted frequencies. In RF
and audio circuits, differential inputs and outputs are frequently
used to improve dynamic range.

What kind of IC are you designing?
