My young daughter has a 12V ride along car, but unfortunately we have lost the little glass fuse which fits in a little screw in compartment and there isn’t anywhere that tells me what size fuse it is. I have been told that this is probably a quick blow fuse but I need to find the size. Can you please and advise what size fuse are usually used in these kind of toys.

I have added 3 photos to help, the circuit board, Battery and the fuse compartment.
The circuit board say 30A but I am not sure this is referring to the size of fuse.

Thanks

30A is the maximum current the relay will handle, nothing to do with the fise size.
Being a bakolite fuse holder, one would expect a relatively large current BUT the wiring size sort of suggests that not anywhere near 30A.
What circuit is the fuse in...?? main motor ..?? ..unknown..??
A bit more detail there would help.

Hi Bluejets, thanks for your quick response, the fuse is directly after the battery connection, the red and black wires that are shown on the 3rd photo go straight to the battery.

In that case if you can give any info that might point in the right direction....nothing on the motor for instance?

The similar little cars my kids drive around use 15A fuses.
