Hello,
I am planning to build my second jacobs ladder ever and last time my wiring wasnt the best. BUT since i have learnt something from my mistakes, i will be building another one. My plan is:

Transformer from 1.2Kw microwave,
groundrail connects to the transformer core,
stage and neutral to the primary coil,
secondary coils outputs will be connected to the rods.

I'd like to fuse this jacobs ladder just to be sure, but i am unsure what kind of fuses i should use and where i would assemble the fuse. Can yall help me on this one?

A perfect recipe for suicide. The secondary voltages of a microwave transformer means instant death.

And if you don't like that recipe then you should know most magnetons contain beryllium oxide in between the ceramic insulators.
If you miss handle your transformer you will inhale the beryllium oxide then you will dye a slow painful death
gasping for air wishing you had energized the transformer.
