Hey guys. I am trying to repair a gameboy advance sp ags-001. The power switch has been removed and I need to replace it but the content pads and summer of the green pcb masking are damaged. Any advice please?

Use wire co connect the leads of the new switch to the corresponding traces on the pcb where the pads are damaged. You my need to scratch off the solder stop lacquer from the traces to reach the copper.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. The new switch doesn't have any leads. Is it possible to add some text to the photo so that it is essentially a diagram.I am not very knowledgeable with circuit board repair.

This is the underside of the 3rd party power switch. Will I still need to repair the damaged circuit board or will this bypass it please?

Still blurry, but there are through-holes visible, usually these are where you attach wires.

Impossible to say without more detailed knowledge of the issue. Start by replacing the switch to see whether the gameboy works or not.
