Hi
thank you all in advance to give me your time to help me
i have a problem in using of hall effect sensor in brush less dc motor .
i use a latch hall effect sensor for my motor commutation but my sensor crashed without any logical reason .i found that the sensor have a limitation on the maximum magnetic field that can be applied to it's surface and it's just 80mT but magnetic amplitude of the rotor magnets on that point is about 800 mT .
i cant find any tiny sensor that could place in my motor coils and really don't know that the ''Bmax '' that in datasheet refered to mean that i shouldn't apply more magnetic field to it or it's just for indicating the maximum magnetic field that is necessary for using sensor.
is it possible that a hall effect sensor crashed because of a big magnetic field?
Thank you all

Very unusual to see a latching Hall sensor in a BLDC motor.
If it is the range of any of the rotor or fields it is going to affect it.
Have you checked out the Honeywell SS400 series?

Thank you so much minder i checked ss400 series of Honeywell i think it's good because it has absolute maximum rating and for the magnetic amplitude it doesn't have any limitation but that previous sensor didn't mention to absolute maximum rating.
thank you for your help
