I'm working on SPWM project that has a carrier frequency of ~4.9KHz with a target frequency of 50Hz.

I think I've reached a limitation in computer simulation software and would like to start building the project physically. To test the output I need an oscilloscope, I was thinking of a USB PC based as they are cheaper and portable (as I work away a lot).

Hantek 6082BE - 80MHz, 250MS/s, 64K sample memory ~£140

Do the clever people on here think this would be a suitable choice for my project? If not can you suggest any better alternatives?

I've got a Hantek DSO-2090 and I'm quite happy with it. A stand alone scope would be nice but the Hantek is great from a price/performance point of view.
