Hey guys so I’m trying to work on a wristband/bracelet that executes haptic rhythmic vibrations when the user is perceived to be stressed/angry (detected through their heart rate). Additionally I was looking into making this band self powered via thermoelectric generators. I’m not very experienced in electronics so wanted to know what components I’d need and whether it was feasible to have it self powered using thermoelectric generators which harness energy from the body’s heat.

You would have to assess both the power output from the TE generator and the requirements of the load (vibration generator) to see if they would work together BEFORE even starting. Making a physical movement takes quite a lot of energy and may be beyond the capability of a body-worn TE device.

Do you have any idea of the basic component requirement(s) for such a system?
