as a serious hobbyist but new to motors i am so confused in how to have a 12v motor mini power and turn an oval plaform.
i dont want the oval to change directions or move out of place.
i want to create a small miniature conveyer belt so that the oval keeps turning slowly along
i think i need some type of gears but cant figure it out

Can you draw what you want please and upload the pic here?.
I think what you need is two cogs or drive pulleys and a belt or chain.
Have a look here on google images for belt and pulleys.

I am sorry, I can’t envisage what you are trying to portray.
Is it an oval top (static) and a moving belt below?.

I've read it twice (three times now) and still can't figure out what the OP is asking!

Are these 'mini people' or is it being fixed in a 'mini' (car)?

Are you from a family of pygmies (your people being only 7cm)?

Is the shape with the arrows a round disk or an oval? What's the meaning of the two other ovals to the right?

no this is for a miniature crfat. the people are 7cm i am trying to build a butcher shop where the chickens get de-feathered on an oval moving belt.
to be clear. imagine table where you eat and it revolves so each time you have a different portion of food . now i need this table in an oval shape. all motors i know revolve as a circle round and round and when u put my oval plate on te oval moved as an oval so the shape kept changing.
how do i use the motor so it remains as an oval and just slowly goes round but stays in its oval shape

You can't do this with a plate of fixed shape.

I think what you want is kind of a shape-shifting conveyor like it is used in the baggage claim area of an airport (baggage carousel).
The problem is not the motor: the motor will always create a circular motion. You will have to use gears and belts to create the motion of the overlapping plates along the oval shape. Like so:

(only some of the support wheels marked).

Or, if you like, think of it as the tracks of a caterpillar as seen from the side.

I know this is not an oval but an ellipse, The principle is the same.

BTW: I'll move this thread to the project construction section where it belongs.

We can't answer that. You'll have to judge your capabilities for yourself.

Have a look here for plastic gears and pulleys.
Two same size gears will give a sort of oval shape. Changing the distance between them will elongate the oval shape. The motor shaft will drive one gear, the other will free wheel. You’ll need to cut the desired size oval in plastic or thin aluminium sheet. Most motors have two mounting holes and the oval shaped plastic/aluminium can be mounted via these mounting holes with appropriate size threaded screws. The belt can be made to measure or simply use elastic bands.
The motor will need a gearbox, so look for a geared motor with ie: 6rpm or 20rpm- depending on what you want.
Quite easy now I understand.
The real difficulty will be getting those 7cm people to pluck a 1cm chicken!

thanks i purcahsed the tank wheel set and will turn on its side to hang the 1cm chickens off that. so far all my miniatures have been working out including 6 cm commercial bakery mixer that turns slowly but that was a simple motor
i am learning "on-the-job" and my crafts get more and more creative.
thanks for all your advice

tank drive worked amazing i added a long shaft 12v motor instead of the one that came with the kit. i added a base so the wheel and gear dont fall off and it works. i added blinking lights for effect
i appreciate the suggestion
