Hi folks,
I'm a software engineer, specialised in Geographic Information Systems, so please bear with my newbie speak when it comes to electronics.
I joined this forum to re-kindle my interest in electronics from high school and first year uni (back in 88).
I've dabbled in beginner, hobbyist level projects and know just enough not to fry anything too seriously.
I have a few ideas for projects I'd like to have a crack at.
These mainly revolve around my kids.
I want to introduce them to the world of electronics and hope to make a few simple projects to assist my son.
He has auditory processing issues for which I thought some of the RF projects I've played with would help.
I'd also like to get into robotics for when he is old enough.
Looking forward to learning from you all and hope that i can eventually assist others like me.
Cheers!
Darren.
