Of course it’s possible.
Simply follow the instructions. I didn’t check the link, I only watched the video.

Also, the actual woodwork is rather nice. A lot of time spent making that!.

I lack the skills to build it through and not not sure what to do.

Do you want someone to build it for you?, because I doubt you’ll have any volunteers.
Each section probably has its own electronic module. For example: an Arduino microcontroller, buck converter, PWM motor controller. The rest is just LEDs, switches, motors.
The board can be any shape or size you want.

Most of such devices are simple switches connected to lights or motors. The variety of switch types and lighting types creates 'interest' for kids.

You can make one as simple or as complicated as your skills allow. The physical construction is likely to be more challenging than the electrical wiring.

Electrically-speaking it's a power supply in series with a switch and the 'device' - be that a light or motor or other 'module' that you can source from any eBay or Chinese supplier.

Make a list of what you're own requirements would be - not necessarily a straight copy of the one in the video - and we can draft some links to sources for the materials.

Yes, I don't think anyone will do them since I can't find anyone.
