I'm working on an old piece of equipment utilizing 2 AD506L (1:100000) Op Amps in series. I need to be able to measure the output without putting a load on the amps, the first stage amp uses a positive feedback loop over a 10^10Ohm Resistor. Since Standard O-Scope probes (1x/10x) have a resistance of 1M/10M Ohms I'm afraid that it will load the circuit giving me invalid readings. Is there anyway analyze this circuit on an o-scope with out effecting it's output or effecting it very little?

Thanks

Hi
I'm not sure that I've correctly visualised the problem.
Can you post a circuit diagram?

You have to measure at a low-impedance point in your circuit. That would be at the output terminal of the AD506 rather than at the input terminal. From your description, there is no way to measure the input signal directly because the source is high-impedance. I think you can put a load on the amps -- at the outputs.
