Recently, my digital camera (Canon Powershot S50) has begun
discharging batteries. If I leave the Li/ion battery in the camera
overnight, it's dead in the morning.
At first, I suspected the battery, so I bought a new one. The new one
suffers the same fate.
Why is my camera discharging batteries? I've cleaned the contacts,
etc. Nothing works.
I emailed Canon, but they weren't able to help me. I was told to send
it in for repair for $300. I might as well buy a new one for that
price, and the camera still works. What can I do?
Thanks for any help anybody can provide. If you have any ideas about
what this is, email me at [email protected]
Thanks.
