I've been repairing a Proscan PS80690 chasis CTC188.. It was dead. I
replaced the flyback, main filter caps, HOT, HOT driver, HOT switch,
high-voltage trippler, CPU, and EEPROM.. Everything appears to work
perfectly now except for one problem.. The picture bows in from the
left and the right severly with bright scenes. If the scene is bright
only on the top portion of the screen, only the top bows in at the
sides, and if the scene is bright at the bottom, only the bottom bows
in at the sides. Maybe this next piece of info is related, mabye not,
but, it also appears the horizontal size and position knobs on the back
of the set appear to do nothing... This TV is driving me crazy. Any
advise would be great. My oscilloscope is on the fritz, and I have a
new one on the way, but not for another 2 weeks. Please advise.
