HELP. Temperature sensor

We made the temperature sensor with DS1621 and we have problem reading
temperature. It always displays temperature of -60 C (-76 F). (both of
them). We used following shematic

Did you follow exactly the procedure described in the datasheet ?
1) Write config word
2) Initiate conversion
3) Read temperature registers

the originalwon't asnwer your question,
I made the PCB and it only works in windows and not in linux.

I have once made it work in linux system and I have lost the setting and
could no longer made it work again.

IT is funny project. do not try this at home
