Greetings. I came to this forum for help as it has been helpful to solve many of my electrical problems in the past.
This phone was working fine for about 2 years but suddenly goes to blank display after the charger exploded during a thunder night. Now the mobile phone can no longer switch on eventhough i charge it using another brand of 5vdc input charger. Seems like some kind of damage either to the charging port or to some ic, this i am not sure. The 3.85v li~ion battery was measured at 3.68v now.
Is there any method to check if the charging port is dead faulty because i tried to probe my multitester to check on input voltage. Can anyone guide me which point to probe since it doesn't seem to have any test point.
