You have computed the power in a square wave. For the RMS power of a sine wave, divide the voltage by sqrt(2) which divides the power by 2.

The swing will be +/- 10 Volts, which, as per my calculations, will give 12.5 W RMS

The RMS voltage is only 10V for a square wave. Power of audio amps is calculated based on a sine wave. With a p-p swing of ±10V, the RMS voltage of a sine wave is 7.07V.
