Hey all,

Last year I installed the electrics for an escape room,

The way the electronics run is as follows,

12v to Arduino shared power to relay, relay to mag lock, Arduino to midi trigger system.

Some of the triggers are not on the arduinos but on magnetic window security latches and some on buttons.

The midi system and arduinos were installed by another party.

The problem is there is random triggers intermittently, the midi system is running on constant 5v power from the midi controller and will trigger at a total voltage loss over 500ms.

I have attempted to replicate the issues but it is so random, one trigger will set one thing off once then the next time it will be something completely different.

All the cabling for the midi system is shielded. Would using a 100ohm resistor on the midi trigger wires stop any potential voltage spikes that could be causing this? Any other ideas? If you need more information, let me know!
