I want to know if its possible to power a Muse i25W TA2021 audio amplifier with something like 12Vdc 18AH car battery to drive a pair of Polk Audio db401 speakers. Will the amp only draw the current required or will I have to regulate the power supply? and will the battery last long?

The power adapter supplied with the Muse is 14V/4A.
The amplifier may or may not work with 12V. You'll have to test this.
The amplifier will draw as much current as it needs, you will not need a regulator for the current.
A 4A fuse in the positive wire from the battery to the amplifier would be a useful safety feature.

At 4A an 18Ah battery theoretically last max. 4.5hours. In practice the useful liefetime of a fully charged battery will depend on factors like
- actual current consumption
- real capacity of the battery (probably less than the nominal 18Ah)
- temperature

I BELIEVE THE MUSE M20 WHICH SUPPLIES A BIT LESS POWER DRAWS BETWEEN 12-14 VDC SO I THINK THAT MIGHT BE SAFER THANKS FOR THE HELP
