Hey guys, I need help find ready component or circuit for a timer for an electronic candle WITHOUT flicker. The timer should turn on the LED for 5 hours and turn off the LED for 19 hours and repeat this cycle every day. Very simple.

I have an existing candle that does that, so I took out the circuit, see the pic, Looks like it has 2 resistors, 1 capacitor, and a chip. My question is: what is that chip, how could I get my hands on such circuit in small quantities I need about 100 or so.

What companies should I contact? I'm newbie in this. Thank you!!

That is called chip-on-board. It is an IC silicon chip without the package and pins. Very low cost for very high quantities, almost always a custom chip from China. Your circuit has one resistor, one capacitor, and one tuning fork "crystal".

A $4 lamp timer from Wal-Mart will do everything you have described so far.

To build something, nothing will be smaller or cost less than a $1, 8-pin PIC, if you don't count the cost of the firmware development and testing.
