Hey everyone I have some experience using aoyue 968 for reflows. I just purchased aoyue 710 and I am trying to heat an xbox 360 gpu so I can lift it. I have tried various methods and am getting a little frustrated but I have several practice boards to use. I was wondering if anyone has any experience lifting the chip. Currently I am preheating for 3min on 400degrees then using infrared light gun for however long at 260degrees. However it still does not get hot enough. My thermocouple has shown 230degrees c but I still can't safely lift the chip. Please help me if u can.
P.s. I would also like instructions for fitting my chip in my reball station if possible. Its the only reball kit available on ebay. Thanks in advance

If this is surface mount component. You can lift it by using a product called Quick Chip. It is a low melt solder that keeps the solder liquid long enough to lift the chip.
I have seen it on You Tube and went to there web site and asked for a sample which they promptly sent. Just watch the videos.
