Help with Epson Powerline 7300 projector yellow strip

I'm considering buying on of these projectors at a great price but it has a
yellow hue on about an inch on the left side
has anybody seen this is or have any idea what it could be ?
I'd like to get it but don't want to need replase the LCD to get this
resolved

Probably a bad blue lcd panel, could be a problem in the blue process
circuitry. In any case you are probably better to pass on it as Epson
will require you ship it to them for repair and only if they still
support the model in question. They will not sell any parts or service
information to outside servicers or individuals.

The replacement bulb for that projector is about $ 500, so I'm not
convinced that even for free it's a great price. The problem may be
the lcd, or one of the optical components.

I'm told that teh current owner just changed the bulb couldl that be teh
problem with the stripe
