Hello,

I need to make or get a 40W variable resistance , which is to be as non inductive as possible.

It will carry a current which is a constant 1.9Arms , 50kHz , sinusoidal current.

So the resistance has to be variable from zero Ohms to about 11 Ohms.

Ive found this but its too high resistance and looks rather too inductive

Do you know who makes these things?

If this has anything to do with your other two posts (with the same title) where you're looking for a digital pot, I can't imagine how a headset is going to suck up 40 Watts! It would turn your brain into a pile of goop!

Chris

Oops, that wasn't you! Sorry about that.

A high power wire wound pot isn't going to present much reactance to 50KHz. How much can you tolerate?
