Hello, I'm trying to design a circuit and I want to ask where could I find not to buy but to scavenge a transformer which input is between 1-12 volts and outputs between 200-600 volts with a relatively small current. I know about the disposable camera one yet sadly I can't find any disposable cameras... Any help will be appreciated!

Please give a bit more information.
What is the input voltage, is it unchanging up to 12V or does it need to cater for varying voltage?
Is the input AC or DC.?
Small relative to what?
Is the output AC or DC?
Does it need to be stable?

Some information on the application would be helpful.

Unchanging up to 12V.
I really would prefer DC but AC is good too.
I would like something the size of a flyback transformer or smaller.
Output I would prefer AC but DC would do too.
If you're talking about the voltage being stable then no, not really.

Rawriano, the last question is actually quite important.

Also it would be useful if you can be quantitative rather than qualitative the description of the required current (or power if you prefer).

Telling us something about the application may help us figure something about the missing details if you are not able to supply them.

There's no practical application for now.
Current would be 10mA or lower. But I can always tune down the current with some resistors.
EDIT: I found a transformer on a TV circuit board. On it there's written "50001L NY236C". Could it be a 5000:1 transformer? Also the circuit board components seem russian just in case.
