Hello, I am attempting to repair a Hitachi 42" Plasma model 42HDT50M. It has a power supply board model MPU7404 L by Murata. I cannot find scematic info on the PWB. Measureing the AC input to the board up to the D25XB60 Bridge Rectifier I only get about 5 vots on the AC pins of the rectifer. I believe I should ge the whole or near the 120 volts AC at those AC pins of the rectifier. When I remove the rectifier from the board. I measure about 25 volts at the solder pads for the AC pins of the rectifier. I am supsecting that the bridge reciifier is bad and some other components leading to it on the primary side of the power supply. Any ideas. Could something else on the DC side of the primary be bringing my volatage down.? I understand that a short would blow my 6.3 amp fuse. The fuse is good and I am getting 120 volts to the main power supply board.
Thanks
