I am currently working on a Hitachi 42" plasma that displays the
following problem:

1. The screen is divided in the middle, and left side of the screen
displays some lines and colors, while the right side is black.
2. This is displayed both at no-signal and with source signal.
3. I checked the voltages as follows:
Reading Specs.
Vs = 81.3 81.6
Va = 61.0 60.8
Vw = 180.5 180.2
Vx = 43.6
4. I attached a PC to the serial port, but could not get a response
(used cross-cable) using Terminal emulator. I do not have the
panelinf.exe program mentioned in the service manual. Can anyone send
me the panelinf.exe program.

Here's the illustration of what's displayed on screen.

Am not after component level repair, as I understand that the boards
are made of 4 layers. I just wanted to know which board is causing
this problem, so I can send out for repair or replacement:

A. Signal PWB
B. Logic PWB
C. Addressing Bus - L and R
D. Video PWB
E. Power PWB
F. X-sus or Y-sus

I would appreciate any inputs you can share.

Regards,
Ken

Very probable either a power supply or addressing board. Should be able to
check the voltages and signals and compare between the two adressing
modules.
